Haliey Welch or popularly known as the “Hawk Tuah Girl” rose to prominence in the year 2024 via the “hawk tuah” catchphrase that went viral on social media. Her popularity on the internet quickly gained her fans and she launched various ventures including merchandise, podcasts, and a cryptocurrency named $HAWK. But after that massive failure on the coin, everything changed.
In December of 2024 $HAWK was launched with great enthusiasm and excitement reaching the market capitalization of $490 million. However, hours later, the coin fell by 90 per cent, giving most investors huge losses. People began blaming Haliey and her team for misleading investors and executing a “rug pull” — an act of fraud where developers of a cryptocurrency sell their cryptocurrency tokens for a huge profit, forcing the price to plummet rapidly.

But since that time, Haliey has been silent. It’s been weeks since she posted on Instagram and a new episode of her podcast, Talk Tuah, since December 3, 2024. Her last social media post was at 20, December when she promised to work with legal teams to help those who were touched by the $HAWK crash.’ Fans have been worried and are everywhere on social media leaving messages asking where she is and why she is quietly sitting.
There are some rumors that have generated the audience, some of which, although, are quite naive; Haliey has been arrested because of this controversy, it has been said. Yet, no official case has been reported and the legal side of her issue is still under investigation.
More questions are brought up than ever about Haliey’s sudden disappearance. Her followers are wondering whether she will come back into the limelight or has the career ended for her. However, some fans still of course hope that she will come back, when legal matters are resolved.
Haliey Welch is looking ahead into the future concerning the $HAWK coin. Will she return to the public eye or will she continue to stay away from the public eye? Only time will tell.
