A cryptocurrency focused company, Metaplanet has announced big plans for the future. As a result, they’ll call it “The Bitcoin Hotel” and rename their Hotel Royal Oak Gotanda. More than a place where you sleep, this hotel will be where people who love Bitcoin go to meet, discuss, and gain more understanding on digital money. The end is to build an exciting and friendly space for both newbie and seasoned users on the Bitcoin scene.
Metaplanet’s CEO shared his vision online. The company expects that the business using Bitcoin will bring in around 3 billion yen, he explained. Additionally, they intend to purchase 21 million shares of 21 million shares to fund their buying of Bitcoins by 2026. With such a focus on cryptocurrency, Metaplanet has grown its market value 100 times and has attracted many new investors.
Now, the first international Bitcoin hotel chain is being created by IKAR Holdings and Unify Platform AG. The hotels will be located in London and Tokyo, while the first will open in Istanbul. The luxury rooms will be offered by these hotels that will also allow guests to pay with cryptocurrency or regular money.
Tech-lovers, remote travelers and those that appreciate digital currency will find Bitcoin Hotels to be served. In addition, they will have high speed internet, workspaces and a blockchain enabled system for checking in and out. The museum would even have a museum dedicated to digital money for guests to enjoy.
Events and meetups for the cryptocurrency community will take place from the hotels as well.
